Death of Pioneer

Mrs. Mary Ann Sims, of Newtown, Tumut, widow of George Sims, has died, aged 85 years.

The district thus loses an early pioneer. Mrs. Sims was born at Driffield, England, and came to Australia in 1852.

She had lived at Adaminaby, Kiandra, and Adelong.

Ten children survive.
