Death
by Drowning at Gocup 10
January 1863 Goulburn Herald |
On Wednesday last, two children, son
and daughter of Mr. Egan, of Gocup, aged
respectively seven and six years, went to a water-hole in the neighbourhood
to have a "bogie," but they had not been gone long before the boy
returned to tell his mother that his sister was in the water, and could not
get out. On hastening to the spot, it was found
that the unfortunate child was lifeless.- Yass Courier. |
