Death of Miss J. Watson at Tumut

The death occurred in Tumut hospital on Tuesday of Miss Mavis Jean Watson, aged 44, only daughter of Alexander Wilkie and Grace Watson, of 'Fairview' Tumut.

She was a prominent worker in Red Cross circles, for the Country Women's Association, and Presbyterian Church. 

She was a member of the firm of A. Wilkie Watson, publishers of the Tumut 'Times' and Adelong 'Express'. 

Miss Watson is survived by her parents and four brothers, Clyde, Errol, Edward and Douglas. 

The funeral will take place in Tumut this afternoon at 3 o'clock.
