of Mr. George Cyril Trewella Grill 20

There passed away in St Vincents Hospital, Sydney, on Friday, November 2nd,
after a short illness, George Cyril Trewella
Grill, youngest member of the family of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis M.
Grill, of Tinonee. Bereft of both parents at an
early age, he went from Tinonee on leaving school and entered the firm of G.
F. Grill, Tumut, where he remained for a number of years. Being a great admirer of beautiful scenery,
he revelled in the glories, of nature around the beautiful Tumut and Talbingo
districts and made scenic photoraphy his hobby. He was an accountant, and at the time
of his death was in the employ of the Prices Commission. He married Miss Madge Wilkinson, of Tumut,
who, with two daughters, survive him. The daughters are Gwennyth, wife
of Captain Lancelot Cutcliffe, and Beatrice, wife
of Major G. E. Walker. The surviving members of his own family
are Misses K, and J. Grill, Tinonee, Mrs. H. O. Waterman, "Tenny- son," Tinonee, and Mrs. L. A. Waterman,
"Farleigh," Old Bar. The remains were, interred the Church
of England portion of the Rook wood Cemetery. |
