of Mr. Henry F. Lampe 28

One of the best known pastoralists in
New South Wales, Mr. Henry Frederick Lampe, of Nebea,
Coonamble, died at his home on Friday last. Mr. Lampe was born at Wambrook Station, Cooma, 80 years ago. He had extensive pastoral interests in
the State, and at one time owned Talbingo, in the Tumut district, where
he also held large tracts of snow country. He also had property at Wyalong, and
in recent years his interests were mainly at Coonamble. Mrs. Lampe predeceased her hus band in 1936. Mr. Lampe is survived by one daughter
Mrs S. E. Oldham, of Pulltop - and five
sons - (Hector (Nebea South, Coonamble). Carl
(Carabagal, Narandera),
Bruce (A.I.F.), Jack (Quando, Coonamble), and Oscar (Nebea, Coonamble). Mrs. Oldham's husband’s father,
the late G. V. Oldham, was manager of the Union Bank, Narrandera, some
years ago. |
