Mr. Thomas Francis Halloran, of
"Red Bank," Tumut, who died at the Prince Henry Hospital, Sydney,
aged 71 years, had spent all of his life at Tumut, where he had carried
on farming and grazing. His wife predeceased him by 12 months.
The remains were taken to Tumut,
the funeral moving from the Church of the Immaculate Conception. The Very Rev. Dean J. Sharkey, P.P.,
V.F., officiated at the church and graveside, assisted by the Rev.
Father T. Collins (Adelong) and the Very Rev. Father J. Blakeney (Adm., Goulburn). Surviving children are Leila
(Sister M. Majella, St. Joseph's Convent. Batlow),
Gertrude (Mrs. M. Higgins, Tumut), Nell (Mrs. E. Worldon, Tumut), Frederick, Clement and Augustine (Tumut).
Two brothers and three sisters,
Edward (Tumut), John (New Zealand), Nellie (Mrs. J. Heffernan
(Moruya), Clare (Tumut), and Gertrude (Sister M. Mercedes,
Dominican Convent, Moss Vale), also survive. |
