Death of Mr. W. H. Elphick

The death occurred last night at the Wagga Base Hospital of Mr. William Henry Elphick of Gossett street, Wagga, at the age of 88 years. 

Mr. Elphick, who was born at Camden, was married at Tumut to Alice Esther Dunn.

He is survived by a family of five daughters and one son - Mrs. F. Sutton, of Tumut, Mrs. M. Kearns, of Wagga. Mrs. G. Brumby, of Tumut, Mrs. O. Jansen, of Sydney, Mrs. A. Snowden, of Wagga, and Mr. George Elphick, of Wagga.

He is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. J. Bailey and Mrs. H. Crampton, both of Sydney, and Mrs. F. Dowell, of Tumut.

The funeral will take place to-morrow after-noon, the cortege moving from Mr. J. C. McDonald's funeral parlors, Baylis-street, at 4 o'clock for the Church Of England portion of the Wagga cemetery.
