Trains to Serve Tumut 3

The Secretary for Railways announced
that a diesel rail motor train will begin service between Cootamundra and
Tumut on Monday week. It will leave Cootamundra at 3.50
p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, connecting at Cootamundra with
the 8 a.m. Riverina Express departing from Cootamundra at 12.34 p.m. This is the seventh of ten diesel rail
motor trains to be built to improve country branch line services. |
