Hope
For The Deaf - New Electronic Aids 6
December 1949 The Tumut and Adelong Times |
The new miracle of electronics has
brought new hope to the hard of hearing. Electronic research has resulted
in the production of hearing aids of amazing efficiency, yet so small in
size that they occupy no more space than an average cigarette case. Outstanding examples of modern
electronic hearing aids are the Amplivox and
Western Electric - the finest hearing aids from Britain and America. The special representative of the Audiophone Coy., Australia's largest organisation devoted
entirely to the service of the hard of hearing, will be in Tumut on
Wednesday, 21st December, to demonstrate to the deaf these two amazing
hearing aids as well as the Audiphone Coy's 'Phantom' invisible earpiece. Appointments may be made, without
obligation, by telephoning R. R. Knox, chemist. |
