By a proclamation in yesterday's Government Gazette, the following is
to be "deemed a gold-field within
the meaning and for the purposes of the Act of Council 20 Vic, No. 29,
entitled 'An Act to amend the laws relating to the gold-fields,' that is to
say, the gold-fields on Crown lands at and in the vicinity of Giandara, or Gibson's Plains, and on the sources of the
Snowy and Murrumbidgee Rivers, to be called 'the Kiandra
Gold-Field.'" |
