At the Land-office on Thursday last
eighty acres at Gocup were taken up by
Messrs. Patrick Harper and J. B. McGregor, who purpose cultivating tobacco. The land is admirably adapted for the
tobacco plant, and from Mr. McGregor's practical knowledge regarding its
culture we have no doubt their enterprise will meet with its reward. They intend to commence with six acres |
