New Pavilion a Feature at Tumut Show

A magnificent, newly-erected concrete pavilion costing £5000 was in use for the first time at die opening day of Tumut's 76th Annual Show today.   

The building is to be known as the Webb Pavilion, honoring the present Show president (Mr. A. T. Webb), who for the past 15 years has rendered great service to the society and has now been president for four years.  

The pavilion has a beautiful tallow-wood flooring, and since Tumut is without a recognised ballroom, the Show Society plans to hire out the pavilion. 

Other improvements to Tumut's picturesque, tree-lined show ground include new £100 cattle stalls.
