Many old Tumut residents will learn with
regret of the death in the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, on Faster
Monday, of Mr. Harry Wilkinson, of 100 Smith Street, Summer Hill. The late Mr. Wilkinson, who was 82 years
of age, was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. .Henry Wilkinson, of Springfield,
and a brother of the late Mrs. E. G. Bridle of "Rosevale", Tumut,
and the late, Mr. Edward Wilkinson, of Wynyard Street Tumut. He married Miss Agnes Dunstan, of Tumut,
who, with nine of their family, is left to mourn the loss of a loving husband
and father. One son 'Wick' was killed in action in
World War I. The late Mr. Wilkinson was at one time
proprietor of the Royal Hotel, Adelong, and later connected with a butchery
business, but for the past thirty years has resided in the city. |
