Obituary - Mr. Henry John Trudgeon

The death of Mr, Harry Trudgeon, of 89 High-Street, Mascot, took place at his residence on Thursday last, at the age of 69 years.

Deceased was born at Cornishtown, Adelong, and married Rose, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Baker snr., of 'Killarney,' Gilmore. Thorald (Tommy) was the only issue to the union. The widow and son survive.

In his young days Harry Trudgeon was an intrepid rider over the jumps at local and surrounding shows and also piloted many winners of hurdle race at the race meetings.

Prior to going to Mascot from Tumut to live he was employed in the Post Office Store grocery department.
