Obituary - Mrs. A. S. Butler

The death occurred at her home yesterday afternoon of Mrs. Annie Sarah Butler, of 213 Gurwood Street, Wagga, at the age of 88 years.

Mrs. Butler came to wagga 17 years ago from Adelong, where she had resided the greater part of her life on her property, 'Green Hills.'

She was widely known in the Adelong, Tumut and Batlow districts, where she was born. 

Mrs. Butler had enjoyed good health all her life and had never been In a hospital, she was the widow of the late Mr. Henry Butler, of Adelong, and is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J. Heagney of Gurwood Street, Wagga.

Miss Madge Butler, also of Gurwood street, Wagga, is a grand-daughter.

She is also survived by one sister, Miss Emily Calloway, of Sydney, and two brothers, Messrs. Charles Calloway of Gilmore, and George; Calloway of Sydney.

The funeral will take place today, the cortege leaving St. Michael's Cathedral at 3.30 p.m. for the Wagga Cemetery.
