Obituary - Mrs. Eva H. Mecham

Sincere sympathy is felt for Mr. John W. Mecham, of Charles Street, in the loss he sustained on Saturday last by the death of his wife, Mrs. Eva Hamlyn Mecham, which took place at her home.

The late Mrs. Mecham was a daughter of the late Hamlyn and Emily Harris, and was born at Tumut, N.S.W.

She was married at Pretoria, British Columbia, at the age of 36 years to Mr. Mecham, who survives her, there being no family.

The late Mrs. Mecham possessed a quiet and kind disposition which won her many friends, who will regret her passing.

Burial took place at Tumut on Monday.
