Price of Eucalyptus Oil

A par in a recent issue re the above seems to have created some misunderstanding in certain quarters.

The oil mentioned in Mr. Beale's letter was Australiana oil, which contains 80 per cent ceneoi oil, the price being 3/4 per lb.

This type of eucalypt does not grow in the Braidwood district, but is found in the Oberon and Tumut districts and on certain parts of the coastal belt.

The eucalyptus oil distilled in the Braidwood district from the narrow and broad leaf trees contains about 40 per cent, ceneoi oil, the price being 2/5 per lb.
