Skeleton
Weed Spreads Alarms 12
March 1954 The Land |
Skeleton weed shows an alarming
increase in the Tumut-Batlow distracts, reports the local district
agronomist, Mr. F. J. Nicholson. It is particularly active on land that
has been intensively cultivated for the past 20- 30 years. He says the solution is to use the
area, for pasture. This both controls the weed, and increases fertility. |
