Settlement Farms for Ballot at Tumut

Four soldier settlement sheep
farms in the Tumut district are now open for application, the Minister
for Lands, the Hon. W. M. Gollan,
announced last Thursday. The blocks are on 'Bongongo'
estate about 21 miles from Tumut. Mr. Gollan
said the farms range in area from 927 to 1228 acres. Applications should reach the
Crown Land Agent at Tumut by Friday, March 28, 1958. Mr. Gollan
said the War Service Land Settlement Board will meet at Tumut early
in May to ballot for the farms. Full particulars and application forms
can be obtained from any Crown Land Agent or from the Under Secretary For
Lands, Sydney. |
