Tumut Murder Charge

Tumut, Thursday. - A 16-ycar-old youth faced Tumut Children's Court today charged with having murdered a 38-year-old woman.

Police told the court that Mrs Una Mary McAllister, of Tumut, had been found shot dead in a paddock late yesterday. She had been dead about 24 hours.

The youth was remanded in custody until September 5.
