New Wagga-Tumut Trunk Lines

The Postmaster - General (Mr. Anthony) has advised Mr. D. E. Fairbairn, M. H. R., that, subject to final testing of the equipment being satisfactory, two new trunk lines between Wagga and Tumut will be brought Into service on July 22. 

These facilities are being provided for a modern carrier- wave telephone system, and with their introduction an improved service will be available between these centres.
